Club Med was the first all inclusive resort. The only thing that has changed is their all inclusive program now includes alcohol and they now have 70 resorts in 25 countries. Club Med will be opening new resorts in Sicily, French Alps, Southern Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Seychelles, West Africa. and Vietnam. 54 of the resorts include age specific kids programs ranging from Baby Club Med for ages 4 to 23 months to Junior club Med for ages 11-17. The resort offers bottle warmers, a gym for tots, a flying trapeze trampoline, water skiing lessons, horseback riding, cooking classes, beach parties, skiing and movie nights. Teens can receive age appropriate spa treatments and participate in golf, tennis, kitesurfing, sailing and diving. (Baby Club Med and Petit Club Med are not included but kids under the age of 4 stay free). Club Med offers free WiFi and digital bracelets in place of room keys. Also a mobile app for each resort which includes property maps. There is just one all inclusive in the United States and it is the Club Med Sandpiper Bay in Port St. Lucia Florida that is on a lake rather than the ocean.
