Casa de Campo Resort and Villas offers focused programs for kids in three sports. The Junior Gold Academy accommodates children as young as 4 years old and costs $15.00 an hour in 2017 for a 1 hour session and age 8 and older $25.00 for a 2 hour season. The kids will play on a Pete Dye Course. The Junior Tennis Academy cost an additional $100.00 (2017). The Junior Shooting Academy teaches safe handling and marksmanship in trap, skeet and sporting clays for ages 7-17 for an additional price of $70.00 (2017).

Counselors at Beaches Resorts have completed their IBCCES certification so they can help children with autism and other conditions affecting motor skills, socializing, communicating, etc. Not only are Beaches children’s camps Certified Autism Center, but Julia, a Sesame Street character with autism, will join the program which includes dining options. Julia will teach “Amazing Art with Julia” .

Club Med Punta Cana offers circus skills lessons for children that teaches balance, self-discipline, confidence and strength. Thanks to Club Med’s partnership with Cirque du Soleil, it has creative facilities where children in the mini club ages 4-10 and the Club Passworld ages 11-17 can use a trampoline, swing on a trapeze, juggle, tightrope, dance, percussions, make-up and Diablo devil Sticks. On family days, the parents and the kids can participate together.

Mexico Travel Requirements

1. What documents do US and Canadian citizens need to travel to Mexico?
US citizens need to have an original, signed passport that is valid for six months beyond their stay. Canadian citizens also are required to have a valid passport. Canadian citizens without a valid passport will not be allowed entry into Mexico and will be returned to Canada. Canadian permanent residents need to present a Resident Card, Certificate of Identity, or Refugee Travel Document.

2. What are the travel requirements for minors traveling to Mexico?
Those under 18 years of age traveling alone or with only one parent or with someone other than the child’s parents, must show a notarized letter of permission signed by the parent/parents not traveling. In the case of a single parent traveling with a minor, a certified copy of the divorce decree and court order showing sole custody, certified copy of birth certificate naming one parent, a notarized copy of a death certificate or other legal documents proving custody or guardianship are necessary.

“We have been advised that effective October 1, 2017 the Municipality of Solidaridad will launch a new eco tax to help maintain the beaches and ecosystem in Riviera Maya. Tourism and the natural beauty of the area is an essential part of the region’s development, and crucial to its preservation. In order to maintain and conserve the natural beauty of the destination, upon check out the hotels will be collecting 10.00 Mexican Pesos per room per night effective October 1, 2017 – December 31, 2017, and 20.00 Mexican Pesos per room per night, effective January 1, 2018. This new tax will be deposited in an environmental trust fund that has been set up to protect the area and its surroundings.This tax has just been imposed, and is not included in packages regardless of booking dates. Please advise your clients of this new development prior to their trip.”

Wedding requirements for Fiji

Getting Married in Fiji? Getting married in Fiji is relatively straightforward with no real legal problems. All that is required is original birth certificate, your passports, a Decree Nisi/Absolute, if you are divorced, a death certificate of your spouse, if you are a widow/er, an officially witnessed consent by your parents, if you are under the age of 21 and a letter confirming your marital status and that you are single. Only citizens of New Zealand, Australia, UK, USA and Canada, do not require this letter. To get married in Fiji you and your partner need to visit the Registry office to apply for a marriage license. These formalities take just 15 minutes, and you can obtain your license within one working day. These offices are open from Monday to Friday between 9 am and 3 pm, with your license valid for 21 days. The license fee is FJD $20.25. Original documents must be presented when you visit the Registry office in person, while a photocopy of the required documents must be sent to the office, at least 2 weeks prior to your intended wedding date. If you wish to have a Catholic wedding, you will also need a Letter of Freedom from your church, along with your baptism certificate. These documents must be sent to the priest in Fiji 2 to 3 months in advance.

Thank you so much for helping us plan a wonderful vacation. Your scheduling for us worked great, the flights all went good, plenty of time to get from one flight to the other with no major lay-overs. Arriving in Ft.Lauderdale the day before was a good idea we didn’t worry about getting in late. The hotel we stayed in the night before we left for the cruise was very nice and the room was huge. Thank you for finding one that had transportation to Port Everglades. We got to the Port early enough we didn’t have to wait in long lines to board the ship. The cruise on Royal Caribbean was amazing, we found so many fun things to do, on and off the ship. The room you chose for us was perfect, we loved the balcony, with its view off the back of the ship, it was beautiful, especially the sunsets, we had the perfect seat each night. Taylor 16 found lots of fun things to do. The Cruise itinerary was perfect, we really liked the port of calls. We enjoyed getting to snorkel in Cozumel, swimming with the stingrays in Grand Cayman, and walking the beaches and hunting for shells at Labadee. We made a lot of wonderful memories. Your suggestion for renting a car was a great idea since we had time to see some of the sights in Ft. Lauderdale before our flight left, we took an airboat ride through the everglades, FUN! Thanks again for all your help. We will call you again for our traveling needs.
